About Crimson Haze (Japanese)

Crimson Haze is a Japanese Scarlet and Violet era set released in February 2024, sitting alongside other SV releases that helped shape the current competitive and collector landscape. As a Japanese print, it carries the production qualities collectors tend to favour: tighter centring, glossier card stock, and cleaner texturing on the rare slots compared to many English equivalents. It is also worth noting that Japanese sets often feature SAR and AR cards that are not printed in the corresponding English release, which makes Crimson Haze a useful pickup for collectors chasing exclusive artwork.

Cards and chase pulls

Our current Crimson Haze inventory centres on the EX hits from the set. Greninja EX 045/066 (JP) is one of the most recognised cards from this release, with a colour palette and pose that has made it a favourite among Greninja collectors. Scream Tail EX 082/066 (JP) sits in the Special Illustration Rare tier, with the over-set numbering that signals an SAR slot beyond the regular 066 print run.
