Brilliant Stars launched in February 2022 as the ninth main set of the Sword and Shield era, and it remains a favourite for collectors who recognise its place in Pokemon TCG history. The set introduced the VSTAR mechanic, giving each deck a single powerful VSTAR Power per game, and reshaped competitive play almost overnight. With 172 cards in the base numbering plus the debut of the Trainer Gallery subset, Brilliant Stars offers one of the deepest pull pools of the era.

Rarity tiers and chase cards
