Collection: Trainers

About this collection

Trainer cards are the engine of every competitive Pokemon TCG deck, and this collection brings together Japanese print Supporters, Items, Stadiums and Tools from across the modern era. Japanese prints sit alongside their English counterparts in many collections because the print quality is noticeably different: tighter centring, glossier card stock, and a cleaner finish on the borders. For deck builders chasing consistency, or collectors who simply prefer the Japanese aesthetic, this is the place to start.

What you will find inside

The collection draws from sets across the Sword and Shield and Scarlet and Violet eras. Staple Supporters such as Poppy 220/197, Daisy's Help 195/165 and Professor's Research feature prominently, alongside utility Items like Super Rod 276/193, Dark Patch 216/196 and Prime Catcher 157/162. Stadium cards including Virbank City Gym round out the support options for organised play and casual building alike.

Rarity tiers explained

Japanese sets often include rarity tiers that the English print run skips. Expect to find standard Holos, Ultra Rares (full art Supporters with character artwork), Special Art Rares (SAR) showing the trainer in dynamic scenes, and the occasional Art Rare (AR) item card. ACE SPEC Rares such as Prime Catcher and Maximum Belt also sit in this collection, with one-per-deck restrictions that make them centrepiece picks.

Condition and shipping

Every card is graded mint or better before listing, sleeved for protection, and shipped tracked Australia-wide from our Brisbane base. If you collect across both prints, browse our English trainers collection to compare.
