Released in January 2025, Prismatic Evolutions is a special set in the Scarlet and Violet era that puts the Eevee evolutionary line at the centre of its design. Across 131 numbered slots, the set blends nostalgic Eeveelution favourites with Trainer cards, Pokemon EX, and the much-loved Poke Ball pattern variants that collectors have been chasing since the set dropped. Rarity tiers and Poke Ball patterns

Prismatic Evolutions follows the familiar Scarlet and Violet rarity structure. Common and Uncommon cards form the base of any playset, while Double Rare slots are reserved for Pokemon EX such as Heatran 068/131 Poke Ball, which collectors will often recognise as the workhorses of the set. Trainer cards like Treasure Tracker 131/131 and Prime Catcher 119/131 sit in their own niche, valued by both deck builders and binder collectors who want to organise full runs.

The Poke Ball pattern is the variant that defines this release. These are alternate prints of existing cards (think Pyroar 016/131 Poke Ball or Techno Radar 130/131 Poke Ball) where the card's holo foil is replaced with a repeating Poke Ball motif. They sit outside the main numbering as a parallel pull, and they have become one of the more collected modern variants in Australia.
